COMMUNITY BASED HEALTHCARE, AUSTRALIA & NZ

• Initially engaged to understand the financial & systemic issues that the subsidiary was incurring. Within 90 days had stopped the systemic issues and moved into growth and organisational change. Internally promoted to act in CEO role whilst Due Diligence was conducted around a significant merger

COGNOS & HYPERION IMPLEMENTATIONS FOR FMCG & FINANCIAL SERVICES

• Engaged to design & implement Cognos & Hyperion into the listed group of companies to perform global financial consolidation, forecasting & reportin

• Migration from UK GAAP to IFRS and back again due to sale process

• Established a Cognos platform to facilitate a reverse take-over within the FTSE. Managed the implementation of an accounting policy harmonisation, financial re-statement of combined results and provide training to internal teams

ALTERNATIVE CONSUMER LENDING, AUSTRALIA

• Engaged to review & control costs within the business alongside more effective reporting. Led the finance team to greater scrutiny on transactions, execute a cost savings plan, sub-leasing of onerous property portfolio, sold a legacy debt book, identified a major GST oversight and managed this to completion with the ATO

MENTAL HEALTH PROVIDER, NZ

• Engaged to assist CEO with providing stabilisation and stakeholder relationships whilst significant board & management team changes occurred. Senior management recruitment, organisational change to both people & legal structures, re-branded, implemented risk management & over-hauled polices & procedures  

CFO & INSOLVENCY SERVICES, IT MANAGED SERVICE PROVIDER

• Engaged for CFO services to rescue the wider business from insolvency, managed creditor repayment terms, banking relationships & day-to-day management to ensure successful trading position

• Engaged to mange the entire team from sales, operations, development, finance and marketing. Grew revenue, reduced overheads and improved profitability.

• Engaged to provide specialty financial services to the highly acquisitive nature of the business. Initially engaged to embed a major acquisition from Cognos to Hyperion and then moved into more general Hyperion support as a subject matter expert
